That undeniable pull...
to keep advocating for your art because there is something seriously amazing yet to be created. It is no secret that I love the art of boudoir photography. Recently though, I've felt much more called to entertain my role in providing a space for sisterhood. Womanhood and sisterhood come hand in hand to me. I think focusing on our own womanhood through self-love, self-care and self-healing should come first. I also believe there is something incredibly powerful in lifting each other up as we walk through these journeys of self - cultivating a sisterhood.
We all have our own versions of complexities, struggles and challenges. When you find someone who actually understands and can even offer support to you and what you're going through, you can heal stronger together. It is like finding that meme or reel that is so utterly specific and on point, you think to yourself "thank goodness, there's someone out there who actually feels exactly like me!".
Through boudoir sessions I want to work with you individually on rebuilding, rediscovering and reconnecting with yourself. From the very beginning of the process to your photo delivery, we are talking and working through your experiences by getting to know each other. My main goal is to make you feel completely comfortable in your absolute mind, body & soul and to then, send you back out into the world carrying your head a little higher than when you entered my studio.
With the ShortStudioS Sisterhood I sincerely hope to welcome those of you at any phase of your self-love journey to a space for coming together. A space where perspectives are welcomed, struggles are met with no judgement, fears of being silenced are eliminated, and encouragement flows through each of us.
Many of us may work in similar industries and experience lack of women support. Many of us may face challenges in our marriages that believe it or not, someone else has actually gone through too. Many of us are having a hard time remembering who we were before becoming mothers. Many of us grew up in small towns and that small town drama runs deep and sometimes you need an escape or at least someone to let you know we get it. Many of us have dreams bigger than the folks we surround ourselves with could even fathom.
The point is. You have a community. Unique, just like you.
A sisterhood.
